A leading construction company uses smart thinking with CleanSpace.

A large construction company were using disposable masks to protect their staff from silica dust in their hard rock quarries and cement processing plants. Operators complained about breathability, fogging, stale air and grit in their mouths/nose at the end of the shift. Then OSHA guidelines changed for crystalline silica. Faced with poor compliance for disposables or expensive/cumbersome traditional belt mounted PAPRs, the Company trialled CleanSpace.

The cost effectiveness (50% lower than the disposables), few parts (no cables, hoses or battery packs) and simple operating system (easy training) meant that the Company was able to deploy the CleanSpace PAPRs to all operators on all their sites. Delivering material value and staff benefits to the business.
