Oil & gas sites don’t forgive complexity. In tight access ways, on ladders and platforms, and around rotating equipment, anything bulky becomes a hazard. At the same time, airborne contaminants can shift by task: hydrocarbons, particulates, ammonia, coatings, solvents, and specialty chemical operations. The right PAPR is the one that matches the job — and stays wearable when the job gets physical.

Two CleanSpace options.

Built for different tasks and exposure profiles.

CleanSpace CST ULTRA

Intelligent PAPR + reporting for safety-led teams and high-activity maintenance programs.

  • Lightweight, compact design (<500 g) with no belts or hoses
  • Compatible with particulate and combination particulate + gas/vapour filters (task-dependent)
  • SMART App connectivity for device monitoring
  • Insights reporting to support safety oversight, compliance and usage visibility across teams
  • IP 65 Rating: Resistant to dust and liquid ingress
  • AirSensit® breath‑responsive positive pressure

Best suited for: non-EX tasks where reporting, oversight and multi-site visibility matter (maintenance teams, shutdowns, contractor programs)

CleanSpace EX

Intrinsically safe PAPR for potentially explosive atmospheres — built for offshore reality.

  • Lightweight, compact design (<500 g) with no belts or hoses
  • Intrinsically safe certified (ATEX/ETL) for potentially explosive atmospheres
  • Compatible with particulate and particulate/chemical filters (task-dependent)
  • IP 66 Rating: Resistant to dust and liquid ingress
  • AirSensit® breath‑responsive positive pressure

Best suited for: zone-rated areas, process and production tasks, mud rooms, break‑in work and any job requiring intrinsic safety

Built for Offshore Movement

Neck-mounted, belt-free systems reduce snag risk and keep mobility high — designed for vertical movement, tight access ways and confined spaces.

AirSensit® Technology

AirSensit® syncs with the user’s breathing to maintain positive pressure inside the mask, ensuring optimal protection and superior comfort compared to bulkier systems and disposable masks.

Make Compliance Visible

CST ULTRA adds app connectivity and Insights reporting, giving safety teams a clearer view of usage and compliance across crews and sites.

Filter Selection

Final filter selection must be confirmed against the task, SDS and regional requirements. As a practical offshore baseline, A2P3 is commonly used for general maintenance and hydrocarbon work, while ABEK‑P3 is used for acid gas/CO₂ systems and specialty chemical operations (task-specific).

  • Painting & coating: A2P3 (common offshore baseline)
  • Chemical handling / solvent cleaning: A2P3
  • Breaking into hydrocarbon systems / contaminated maintenance: A2P3 (task-dependent)
  • Acid gas / CO₂ systems, amines, specialty chemicals (production installations): ABEK‑P3 (task-specific)
  • Mercury: typically task-specific for high-risk activities (not routine PPE); select per site process and risk assessment
