Yes, the bib is replaceable. Replacement frequency depends on usage and environment. It should be replaced if it becomes damaged, heavily soiled, or as part of routine hygiene protocols in controlled environments such as healthcare or pharmaceutical settings.

The bib is not designed for repeated sterilisation processes. For environments requiring strict hygiene control, it is recommended to replace the bib rather than attempt sterilisation, following site-specific infection control protocols.

At the Minimum Designated Cooling (MMDC) rate, the manufacturer specifies a minimum run time of 4 hours. In normal use, users typically experience up to 7 hours of operation. Actual run time will vary depending on factors such as altitude, filter condition and type, work rate, facepiece seal, and other conditions.

No, after doffing, allow the Power Unit to run for at least five (5) seconds so the CleanSpace AGILE can complete a filter check. Then, press the Power Button once to switch the Power Unit to Standby mode.

The CleanSpace AGILE Facepiece comes in a single size, designed to fit all users.

CleanSpace AGILE will alert you when the filter needs replacement. Both audible and visual alarms will activate if the particulate filter becomes blocked, is absent or if airflow drops below the minimum safe level. Additionally, filters should be replaced if they are visibly damaged or soiled.

CleanSpace AGILE is a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) with a breath-responsive design that matches airflow to your breathing — increasing it as you inhale and easing off as you exhale. If it detects no breathing, it automatically switches to constant-flow mode and sounds a warning alarm.

Safety Mode supplies a continuous high flow of filtered air, so you retain a significant level of protection. However, because the alarm is triggered by a large leak or missing component, the system can no longer confirm you are receiving full protection. Treat it as a prompt to act: check the fit and positioning as soon as it is safe, and if the alarm continues, move to a safe area and address the cause before resuming work.

CleanSpace SMART App is not currently available for CleanSpace AGILE. This will be coming soon.

An IP54 rating means the device is protected against limited dust ingress (sufficient to prevent harmful effects) and against water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for use in environments where exposure to dust and light moisture may occur, but it is not waterproof or designed for immersion.

If the Respirator does not start, check that Respirator is not in the OFF MODE or has no charge by pressing the ON button and putting the Respirator into Standby Mode. If only green LED is on, the respirator is in standby mode and the battery is charged. When both green and blue LEDs are on, the respirator is in ON mode. If no lights are on, then the Respirator may need to be charged. To charge, connect the Respirator to the charger. Check that one of the green LEDs on the keypad is flashing. If none of the LEDs is flashing, the unit is not charging. ALWAYS start the shift with a fully charged battery (3 green LEDs).

To perform a recalibration on your CleanSpace respirator, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before recalibrating the unit.
2. Remove mask and filter before recalibrating the unit.
3. During the recalibration, place the unit on the flat surface.
4. Make sure both air outlets are not blocked by any objects.
5. Place a finger over the Power Button and Airflow Button at the same time.
6. Press and hold both buttons at the SAME TIME.
7. Press the buttons for approximately 1-3 seconds until both the BLUE & RED lights appeared, and then release the hold.

The lights will stay on for 10 seconds while the respirator recalibrates itself. The recalibration process is now complete when the blue and red lights switch off.

We recommended that you clean your Respirator after every use. The mask, power unit, neck support/pad and harness need to be cleaned separately. Disassemble the mask, neck support/pad and harness from the power unit before cleaning. For detailed cleaning instructions refer to the CleanSpace respirator User Instructions.

Use one of the methods below to clean the Mask, Head Harness and Neck Support/Pad.

• Method 1: Wipe / Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of the component. If a wipe is used, consider rinsing with clean water to remove any residue.
• Method 2: Hand Wash / Wash in warm soapy water (not greater than 50C/122F) using a neutral detergent and rinse with clean water to remove any residue.
• Method 3: Dish Washer / Place on the top shelf of dishwasher and wash with a neutral dishwasher detergent (not recommended for CleanSapce2 Neck Pad).

For cleaning the Power Unit, use a damp cloth soaked in a compatible cleaning agent and wipe the surface to clean thoroughly. Soft brushes can be used to remove dirt or dust from the unit. Wipe all exposed surfaces. Air-dry the power unit in a clean environment before use or storage.

CleanSpace Respirators have several in-built alarms: battery, filters and airflow. Please read the User Instruction Manual (available in the Product Resources section of this website) carefully to understand the operation of the CleanSpace respirator. If the Respirator beeps during use, leave the contaminated area, remove the respirator and check which alarm has been triggered.

This process will check the filter condition and the CleanSpace SMART App will display an accurate Filter % Remaining reading.

If the Respirator gets wet, dry the casing thoroughly then check to see if water has penetrated the Respirator by removing the filter cover and filter. If water has penetrated the Respirator, discontinue use and contact your safety equipment supplier or CleanSpace Technology Pty Ltd for further information.

CleanSpace Work neck supports are supplied in two sizes – Small and Medium. CleanSpace WORK can also be worn without a neck support for wider necks.

The operating time of a CleanSpace respirator varies depending on respirator models.

• CleanSpace EX, CleanSpace WORK, and CleanSpace HALO: up to 8 hours*
• CST Ultra and CST PRO: up to 14 hours*
• CleanSpace AGILE: up to 7hours**

*Operating time is strongly affected by filter type, filter loading, mask seal, work rate, altitude, and other factors. Actual operating times may vary.

The lithium polymer battery can safety receive short “top up” charges through-out the shift allowing the respirator to be used over a 12-hour shift.
ALWAYS start the shift with a fully charged battery (3 green LEDs).

To charge, connect the Respirator to the charger. Turn the Respirator over and check that one of the green LEDs on the keypad is flashing. If none of the LEDs is flashing, the unit is not charging. ALWAYS start the shift with a fully charged battery (3 green LEDs).

The internal battery of the CleanSpace Respirators cannot be changed. Any attempt to open the CleanSpace Respirator casing will void the warranty.

All CleanSpace respirators, except the CleanSpace AGILE, are designed to automatically switch off the motor and enter Standby Mode within ten (10) seconds when not in use.

If any CleanSpace respirator, including the CleanSpace AGILE, is in Standby Mode and no breathing is detected for three (3) minutes, the respirator will switch to Off Mode.
To restart the respirator from Off Mode, press the Power Button to return it to Standby Mode.

The CleanSpace Respirator has several masks: half and full-face masks. The half masks come in 3 sizes (small, medium and large). The full-face mask comes in 2 sizes (small and medium/large). Choose the mask that ensures a close seal on your face and fits comfortably on the face. The correct CleanSpace mask should be fitted by trained safety personnel before being issued for use. Note: CleanSpace Respirators are accredited Respiratory Protection Equipment. We recommend that the wearer be clean-shaven when using CleanSpace Respirators*.

There is no way to determine filter life for one workplace without significant air quality testing. Every working environment is different regarding airbourne contaminants: hazard risk, exposure levels, and concentrations around the wearer. And the wearers breathing efforts – all impact how long a filter will last. The CleanSpace filters have two advantages to assist filter life i) the filter is located at the back away from the direct path of fumes or dust generated in front of the wearer (i.e. welding, grinding) and ii) the CleanSpace respirators are breath responsive, only pulling air through the filters when the wearer needs it (unlike other PAPRs that have a constant peak flow (>100L/min) which pulls air through the filters regardless of whether the wearer needs the air or not).

The CleanSpace filters should NOT be cleaned. Do NOT use compressed air or any other method to clean the CleanSpace filters. Cleaning the filters can damage the filters and risk the protection efficiency of the Respirator.

For particulate filters, the CleanSpace Respirators have a filter alarm. The alarm (audible and visual) detects when the particulate filters are blocked and will beep during use and the filter light (RED) will come on. For gas filters, there is no way to detect when the gas filters activated carbon is exhausted. The wearer should be aware of work place policies on the use of Respirators with gas or combination filters, if the wearer detects a noticeable taste or smell then they should immediately leave the contaminated area and change the filters.

The CleanSpace filters are constructed from flame retardant materials. Testing has shown that the filters will not ignite when exposed to sparks or open flame.

Based on information currently available to CleanSpace, CleanSpace products do not intentionally add banned per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS, during raw material procurement, manufacturing or processing.
